And I Hope you enjoyed the last 2 days
of weather because it seems to have
drastically changed. I must say I definitely
prefer the 52 degree days instead of the
16 degree days. Nina was here on the last
52 degree day and said she wasn't looking
forward to the migraine that was coming
with the change in the barometric
pressure. I don't blame her. I'm really glad
that migraines aren't on my list of ailments
On to a more pleasant subject.
We're having a Rufus BOGO this week.
Those of you who have been with me for
awhile know that before Mufin I had an awesome
cat named Rufus. He was white and grey and had
a very attractive personality as well as being
an ever so cute kitty.
Our special this week is the kit for
Rufus in the Garden
For those of you that have sent
cards and well wishes, Thank you so much.
I really, really miss him - but I guess that's
to be expected after 55 years of marriage.
My day will be going along and then something
little will trigger the fact that I won't see him
again until I go to heaven too.
I told his cat Dueces that "Daddy went to
heaven without us" but we'll join him there
later. And we will but not for awhile because I
promised our granddaughter Zoie it would be
quite sometime before I left. And I've got to at
least finish Adley's quilt and Snowy night. I worked
on the scallops in the border of Snowy Night while
I was at the hospital even though Adley's Quilt is a
baby quilt and he is already born but the blocks were to big
to fit on my lap. That tree block is 12' X 24".
On Thursday this week.
I'm going straight to the item on sale
because I want to look at something cheerful
and I love this quilt.
Its 2024!!!
We hope you all had a great Christmas and New Years
full of fun and family.
And speaking of family
here's our grandson Jake
(or as he's known now Dr. Findley)
in his Christmas Sweater.
Probably on Thursday this week :)
I'm a little late because there is so much
going on around Christmas.
To begin with we're doing the
12 Days of Christmas (or rather granddaughter
Zoie is doing most of the work sending out the
emails.)
The kit on sale this week is
Be Joyful
You can go to the store see what
else is on sale and to get the
kit by clicking here.
Have the best week with the people and quilts that you love
and I'll see you next week with another quilt and probably
more chicken & cat pictures - The critters are my babies.
They're a lot easier to take care of than the human ones.
To begin with Muffin doesn't wake me up in the middle
of the night to be fed, he just snuggles closer to stay warm :)
I am, however working on a quilt for a couple of Jake's friends,
Alex and Tori and their new son, Adley. I'll try to have pictures
next week.
Have a good one.
Jan
On Thursday this week - I lost a day.
Its that time of year again - Winter -
So our quilt special this week and also
the winter quilt in the hall,
is another one of my favorites
Suzanne's Snowmen, BOM.
I just love the snowman riding the chicken,
although I'm pretty sure my babies would
prefer not to be ridden by a snowman.

pattern by clicking here

And maybe more Muffin pictures since he's
become an inside cat. :)
